St Mary’s Hospital Play Therapy

We are happy to share that the Play Therapy area at the Great Western Ward in St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, is now a reality!

Our team at Floyd Slaski developed and refined the space to ensure it is truly inclusive, safe, and supportive for all children. We focused on integrating neurodiverse-friendly elements, incorporating anti-ligature fixtures for maximum safety, and creating an environment that fosters comfort and engagement for every child, regardless of their needs.

This project was originally concept-designed by AB Rogers Design, and we were proud to further develop it.

We had the pleasure of working closely with a dedicated team of clinical staff and play therapists who are committed to providing exceptional care. Witnessing their passion and expertise in action was truly inspiring.

A huge thank you to the Imperial Health Charity for making this project possible. Their generous contribution highlights the vital role of play therapy in the healing process. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of these incredible young individuals.
