St George’s University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are progressing a fast-track modular new build project that will include the following accommodation:

• 20 Bed ITU

• ITU Staff Accommodation

• Shell space for future fit out

The main ITU floor has 20 beds, including 2no 4 bed bays, 5 isolation rooms with pressurised lobbies and 7 single rooms which have interconnecting doors for flexibility of patient type and staffing. The central staff and ancillary area is kept as open plan as possible for optimum visibility. Large rooflights are positioned over the open plan staff areas to bring light flooding into the heart of the plan.
