On this 'World Earth Day' we'd like to share news about our new (2nd) London office. To address capacity issues at our Putney office and plan for growth, Floyd Slaski Architects Ltd's 'local' office at Parkhall Business Centre has space for 8 agile workstations. Considerations included:

• The location reduces commute times and is in walking or cycling distance for 5 of our current colleagues.

• We fitted the office out with 100% 2nd hand furniture - tables, chairs, worktops and also a fridge from the local charity electrical shop Emmaus.

• Parkhall runs on 100% renewable energy , and reports energy consumption including a 14% decrease in electricity consumption in 2024 compared to 2023.

• Immediately adjacent is the historic West Norwood Cemetery, one of London's 'Magnificent Seven' cemeteries, providing a tree canopy view from the office and as well access to nature during breaks.

We also added a few pot plants!
