King Edward VII’s Hospital

Project Alice 1

Following completion of the main extension and refurbishment of the existing Private hospital, Floyd Slaski LLP were commissioned by King Edward VII's Hospital for Officers to design a group of consulting rooms with staff accommodation above, all within a new purpose built building. The site adjacent to the hospital and within the Harley Street Conservation Area was formerly occupied by a 1960's nurses' hostel. Planning permission for the scheme, which included a new bridge link to the existing hospital, involved full consultation with the City of Westminster's Conservation Officers and English Heritage.
